We wanted to give you an update on email features on your SOAR myTroop website after the migration yesterday.
Email Aliases
- There has been no issues with Email Aliases working
Email Lists
- We did receive some reports late Monday and early Tuesday about email to Email Lists not going through
- Upon investigation we found errors in about 10% of the Email Lists migrated over
- At 10AM EST today we fixed all those issues
- We also ran a full site check on all Email Lists to double check – all are working properly
- If you sent email to an Email List yesterday or today and believe it did not go through, send it again now – it will go through !
EBlast
- The Troop EBlasts went out later today, as we wanted to babysit the process to make sure there were no issues
- EBlasts went out perfectly
- Normal time from now on
Email Reputation
- Email through the migration had been sluggish – sometimes being delivered hours after being sent
- This is due to a new email IP Address being used
- Did you SOAR processes close to 2 million customer emails a month?
- When ISP see large volume from an unknown IP Address they tend to rate limit the emails, thus delaying them
- We moved the original email IP Address which has a great reputation over to the new infrastructure at 2PM EST today
- Email is now flying again !
