Chrome Browser password notificationsGoogle has added a new "compromised password" feature into new releases of the Chrome Browser. Based on this new feature you or your member that use the Chrome Browser may receive a "Check you password" warning on your SOAR website.
This DOES NOT mean your SOAR website has been hacked. What is DOES mean is the specific username/password combination used has been found in previously hacked websites. The person that received that message should change the password for the username on your SOAR website, and probably all other locations where that same password is used. People tend to use the same username/password across multiple website for convenience. At some point in the past, one of those websites was hacked. And this is why they are getting the message. If one member gets this message, you DO NOT need to change all passwords for your SOAR website. At the same time, changing the password for the "admin" and other shared accounts on a yearly basis is a good idea. Full details about this Google Chrome feature can be found here.
