SOAR strives to provide you with a quality service. Part of that service is ensuring that your website content is backed up and protected from loss.
SOAR's backup policy includes:
- Full backup once a month
- Nightly incremental backups
- As needed backups prior to server and service upgrades
- 2 month retention of monthly full backups
- 5 consecutive days retention of incremental backups
- Verification of all backup files
- Use of industry standard backup formats
- Random backup file testing
- Monthly manual check of backup process
- Storage of backup files locally and on a dedicated backup server
In addition, all sites are hosted on dedicated servers that are only used by SOAR. No shared servers with other companies. Each dedicated server has:
- Redundant hard drives with RAID mirroring so hard drive failures do not bring down sites, nor cause data loss
- Redundant power supplies, CPU, and memory
- Offsite at a premier hosting facility with world class data centers
- Redundant Internet connections
